Early Registration Fees
Please Note: early registration fees are only available for those who register and make full payment before the early registration deadline.  If you register and do not make payment by the early registration deadline you will be invoiced for the late registration fee.

Member Registration Fees
Please note that only members with up to date subscriptions are eligible to benefit from the member registration fees.  Please contact the society directly with any queries about your membership subscription:

Non-members may register at the member rate if they join the Society and set up a Direct Debit for 1st January 2020.  They will benefit from free membership for the remainder of 2019, as well as the reduced registration fee.  Please click here to join before registering.

In order for Trainees/Fellows/Nurses to take advantage of the reduced rates, your current post and speciality will be checked against the BGCS database.  In order to update/check your profile please log into your BGCS member account at

Student Fees
To register as a student you must be a full time under- or post-graduation student.  We will require further proof of your student status; this can be a scan of your student identification card or a letter from your university (acceptance letter or matriculation letter) you will be asked to upload this during the registration process, if you cannot upload it please email it to 

Nurse Symposium Only
Nurses who wish to attend only the Nurse Symposium on Friday afternoon can register here.  Please note lunch is not included and it will not be possible to attend the dinner on Thursday evening or the video session on Wednesday.

Pre-Meeting Video Session
The pre-meeting video session has been cancelled.

Annual Dinner
The 2019 BGCS Annual Dinner will take place in the Hall at St John’s College on Thursday 11th July.  Tickets can be purchased as part of the registration process at a cost of £54.

Payment of Registration Fees
Full payment must be made by credit/debit card at the time of registering.  Cards accepted are VISA, Visa Debit and MasterCard.  Unfortunately, we cannot accept American Express, Visa Purchasing or Maestro.

Entry to the conference will not be permitted unless full payment has been received.  On receipt of your registration form, a confirmation email and receipt will be sent to you by the conference organisers.  If you have not received this within 5 working days of registering, please contact the conference organisers by emailing

Delegate Cancellation
Notification of cancellation must be submitted by email to the conference organisers (In Conference Ltd) to

  • Cancellations made on or before 3rd June 2019 will be refunded less the £40 administration fee.
  • Cancellations made after 3rd June 2019 will NOT be refunded.
  • No-shows will NOT be refunded.

By attending the conference, members consent to being filmed and/or photographed for BGCS purposes.

Non-EU participants may require a Visa to enter the UK.  To check if you need a UK Visa please follow this link Delegates may also contact the consulate/embassy in their home country for further information.

If you require a letter to confirm your registration please complete the online registration form and make payment.  Please email to request a letter after you have registered and made payment.  If your visa is declined we are only able to offer refunds in line with our cancellation terms and conditions.

Validity of Passports
It is your responsibility to ensure that your passport is valid for travel and we recommend that you check with your local Embassy.

Certificates of Attendance
Delegates will be provided with a certificate of attendance on completion of the conference evaluation form.
